SAFETY HOUSE

M.A.D Model Makers partnered with Electrical Safety First to create a detailed 1:12 scale Safety Doll House. This model was designed to educate the public about electrical fire hazards at various shows and events.

The house measures 1100x1100x1100mm and was designed from scratch using Rhino. The base was CNC-cut from marine MDF for durability, while the carcass was made from 15mm acrylic, featuring a tab and slot system for easy assembly. The floors were crafted from maple veneer, laser-engraved for a realistic paneling effect, and the roof tiles were resin printed and textured.

All furniture was custom-designed, 3D printed, laser-cut, and hand-assembled, with details like a bubble bath and makeup desk bulb made from clear resin. Some walls were left clear to allow easy viewing of the model’s interior.

The final product effectively demonstrated key safety hazards, serving as a valuable educational tool.
